Remember seeing those ugly signs at the entrances to the mountainside and seaside? I pushed the City to tell Jesus Olmos and Pat Butler to take them down and yesterday they did. Hooray!!

Now onto the lawsuits. I filed my Counterclaim with the court to dismiss Olmos’s attorneys for COI (Conflict of Interest) because they should not be able to represent our HOA (ACED) since they have represented Butler for the past 15 plus years. We have been told for years that our HOA is completely separate from the developer, Pat Butler. We know that’s BS.

The lawsuit seeks to nullify the December meeting and cancel your vote to remove Olmos as Administrator. We cannot let that happen.

There are quite a few of you who are being kept informed via this email and have yet to contribute to the legal fund. Why let others carry the financial burden, so I am asking one last time for your support. If not for the support others have given, I would not be doing any updates.

Back in 2015 I published a Research Report on the history of EDR and how Pat Butler came to San Felipe and bought EDR from the ejido members. There are lots of data/info in this report and at the time I wanted to make a full book. While the data/info is over 10 years old, the information in this report will give you a better sense of past problems and why we need to change the administration. I have only a few original reports left and want to know who might want one. It cost me about $20 to print on quality paper and spiral binder back then. If enough of you want a copy, I will reproduce a batch at the same price. Let me know via email.
