When is a HOA not a real OWNERS HOA? When the developer assigns an “Administrator” that is severely biased toward the developer! That is the exact situation the dues-paying owners have been faced with. The developer, Pat Butler, has from day one back in 2004, given ALL of the power that the Administrator has, to Jesus Olmos and he has squandered away millions of dollars.

Important to remember our current HOA is legally titled Asociacion de Condominios El Dorado A.C. (ACED for short) and is a non-profit Mexican corporation with its own Articles of Incorporation (By-laws) that give the Assembly the ultimate power to fire the Administrator upon a majority vote. These By-laws have clauses that favor Butler, not real owners, and must be amended to favor the majority owners. The assembly has the power to amend these and did so at the December 13th. EOA meeting. The Administrator shall be removed by a SIMPLE MAJORITY of the Assembly members present at the meeting.
