The Legal Battle is Ongoing

On Saturday, December 13th, 2025, the Assembly of Owners voted unanimously for the radical change needed. They voted YES on 4 resolutions:

  1. To modify and amend the Articles of Incorporation (By-laws, Public Deed)
  2. To terminate the current Administrator, Jesus Olmos, and appoint an interim temporary Administrator, Michael Bennett.
  3. To suspend payment on certain contracts listed in the 2026 budget.
  4. To pay the Notaria for testimony and recording in the Public Registry (RPPC).

The meeting is now Notarized by Notaria 4 in Mexicali and makes the meeting official!

But now we are in a legal battle with Mr. Jesus Olmos to step down. He has had it so good for a long time. He claims to not stealing a penny from us. So I wonder how he came to afford his mini-mansion in Mexicali?

The Olmos/Butler cartel is now having our security guards handing out a “joint communications” paper claiming the December meeting is invalid because we didn’t follow the very old 2004 Butler Rules. What a big joke. And even Doreen Butler said the Rules needed to be changed. But they won’t. So the legal battle will finally happen. Court filings coming soon.

Why are we budgeted to spend a million US dollars on security in 2026? Why do we see security trucks running around town miles away and they park on a cul-de-sac and watch movies on their phone?

Why are we still paying Mr. Butler 15% of our dues every year? What are we getting for this money? Nothing really.

Welcome to the El Dorado Ranch Owner’s HOA. Do NOT pay the 2026 dues until Mr. Olmos resigns!

The El Dorado Ranch Homeowners Association Assembly has now voted to terminate the existing Administrator, Jesus Olmos. As of today, Monday December 15th, extreme resistance is being exerted on the newly voted-in Interim Administrator, Michael Bennett. The first resistance comes from Ricardo Perez, the manager of Operations. He stated his loyalty is to Jesus Olmos and will not follow any orders from Mr. Bennett.

If this continues we have no choice and should NOT PAY THE 2026 DUES until Mr. Olmos informs Ricardo Perez and Roberto Islas that Mr. Bennett is the duly voted new interim Administrator. Very doubtful this happens.

2026 is here and now the real work begins. Lets hope and pray Mr. Olmos steps down soon so a rigorous financial audit can take place.
